Geez

Yeah

its been awhile
what can i say...i got the bug to do a blog
i enjoyed typing then i started thinking....no one sees this why the
hell should i do it. But i realized it isn't about how many comments i get
it's about letting out my thoughts and feelings, and ultimatley feeling
better about myself and just anything in general. So here I am, back again
trying to give this another shot! So since december, not much new has happened
in Michigan...it is still cold but THANK GOD it is getting warmer, which means
more walks and which also means, more pictures. There is only so much you can do regarding pictures when it is snowing...if your semi-lazy like i am lol there is nothing you can do. Basically christmas was great, January was a boring month but February was eventfull. I got to see the Spice Girls! now that was awesome. They were a popular pop group in the 90's that was really for girls. Even though i had no idea sometime was they were singing about, it was my all time favorite group. And as a 7 year old girl it was awesome to look up to 5 beautiful girls (and one that looked like me!), who sang about Girl Power and not needing men (even though i was too young to really appreciate that) they were great. SO basically now i'm just excited for spring, i really want to get better at photography and bump up my skills on flickr...and who knows, maybe then i will get a pro account lol

Hmmm....oh winter

Well, im kinda in the beginnings of the worst part of winter
you know when the roads are ridiculous and you can't go down the street without hitting a mailbox or tree trunk. It really sucks, I dont know how anyone else out there feels. But the gross salt caked to my car every morning isnt a plus either. But anyway....Christmas is upon us! I'm pretty excited...it is my favorite holiday after all...along with millions of other people. Did some Christmas shopping the other day for my 3 best friends, it took me awhile to decide what to get them, i had set out to only spend 20 bucks on each of them ....thats 60 bucks people thats alot to me lol But i couldnt think of anything, and after walking around town ALL day and finding nothing i went home and gave up. The thing is, i didn't want to go to a shopping mall or a complex or anything, I wanted to try to get them unique gifts from the little eclectic shops scattered all around Ann Arbor. But i just couldn't do it. So i ended up getting something from the dreaded mall. I'm sure they will enjoy it though. They are already wrapped and everything

I'm on top of my game this season lol
now all i gotta do is decorate the house and put up the tree : )

First Snow Fall

Well the first snow has fallen in Michigan. Yeah it was nice...but I have been living here for awhile and i know it's only the beginning of a long hellish cold few months. I am not a fan of winter, i hate being cold and would usually rather be sweating than freezing. Some people are the opposite...i know...weird (hehe). But, with my new Canon i guess i will learn to appreciate winter more. Some of the most beautiful pictures are taken in winter so maybe that is something to look forward to. But i definitely don't look forward to driving, being cold, cleaning off my car every morning and being shut in the house during the weekends.

Oh dear

I had a pretty good weekend. Minus saturday morning. I live in Ann Arbor, Michigan...therefor it is expected of me to be a University of Michigan fan, and i am. I especially love the Michigan Wolverines, the football team. For anyone who is unaware our biggest rivals are the Ohio State Buckeyes. Whenever they come to Ann Arbor for a game the town goes crazy. There are signs insulting the Buckeyes in every window, all the frat houses prepare for huge parties and all the families dress up their kids in Michigan gear. So we played the Buckeyes saturday morning, and it was a pretty big game because whoever won had a shot at going to the Rose Bowl. Everyone was excited and obviously i believed my team would win. Au contrare. We got raped. We did pretty AWFUL, Henne constantly throwing too high, no Wolverine was able to hold on to the ball, we were always letting one of the Buckeyes, speed by....it was horrific. I found myself in my living room screaming at the top of my lungs.
I just had to turn the game off and do other things.
What a tragedy.
oh well...soon i will be on Thanksgiving break. I have lots of art to do.

Brr...it's cold in here...

I'm FREEZING!
I live in Michigan, and it is fall so that is expected. But i just don't do well when it's cold out. It seems like life is so much harder when its cold. Its 80 times harder to get up out of bed and stumble to the bathroom for a shower when its under 20 degrees outside. Usually in the summer if i'm in a bad mood i can just step outside into the sunlight and everything gets better. But this time i start off with a bad mood, then have to go out to my car and warm in up while the cold air basically attacks me and brings my mood even lower. Then throughout the day I'm either wearing too many layers and wish i didn't over-dress or too little and shivering the whole day. It's a lose-lose situation.
When it gets to the holidays, the cold will all be worth it though.
It's only gonna get worse from here.
Michigan winters are NO JOKE!
...pray for me ; )

Well, here we are!

I've taken the leap.

I've finally gotten myself a blog...

so this is what it feels like. A whole site devoted to what I want to talk about, after dreaming of making one for awhile i've finally made one and....ofcourse i have nothing to say. Funny how things work out huh? My love for blogs began at a site called Flickr. If you havn't been you gotta check it out! It's a great site (free to those who don't want a premium space), where you can post your photos and view other people's photos. Alot of the people who take pictures and post on flickr have blogs. So...me being the nosey and curious person i am i had to check out their blogs and i learned that these people who were taking these great pictures also had really interesting lives. Then i thought...maybe someone might be interested in mine....I guess we'll see how that turns out. I don't know how people go about getting subscribers for these things, guess you just gotta be interesting.

I might be a little behind in that department!
